Maisie Campbell Napaltjarri
Maisie was born in 1958 in Mt. Liebig. She belongs to the Pintupi language group. She currently lives in Kintore in Central Australia. She was married to a famous Aboriginal artist Barney Campbell Tjakamarru.
She started painting in the early 90's and attended school at
Papunya, where Geoffrey Bardon was teaching. Her paintings symbolize
women ceremonies that take place in the areas between Kintore and
Kiwirrkurra in Western Australia.
She uses vibrant colours. Maisie is recently a very popular artist.
